These Terms of Use govern your use of AIMXCHANGE or any other related website at https://aimxchange.com net or any future website created by AIMXCHANGE (the “Website” and if together, the “Websites”), our mobile and desktop apps (our "Apps") and all related players, widgets, tools, applications, data, software, APIs (which may also be subject to separate API Terms of Use) and other services provided by us (the “Services”).


Welcome to AIMXCHANGE, a service provided by PERSATUAN KONSORTIUM INDUSTRI RAKAMAN MUZIK MALAYSIA or IRAMA (a non-government organisation registered under Register of Society Malaysia (ROS) in Malaysia with registration PPM-054-10-29032018, henceforth referred to as (“AIMXCHANGE”, "IRAMA", “we” “our” or “us”).


By accessing or using this platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Platform Role & Ownership

AIMXCHANGE is a community, recognition & documentation platform for AI music creators. It does not claim ownership over user-uploaded works.

2. User Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age

  • Have legal rights to publish your uploaded content

  • Provide accurate profile information

3. Content Responsibility

By uploading content, you confirm that:

  1. You own the rights or have permission

  2. You do not impersonate others

  3. You do not upload plagiarized, stolen or defamatory material

  4. You disclose whether the work is Full AI or Hybrid Creation

4. Prohibited Content

Users may not upload:

  • Copyright-infringing works

  • Unauthorized voice cloning

  • Hate speech, violence, illegal content

  • Fraudulent or misleading material

AIMXCHANGE reserves the right to remove content without prior notice.

5. Recognition & Awards

Participation in:

  • AIMX Chart

  • AIMX Awards

is subject to:

  • Platform rules

  • Jury evaluation

  • Community engagement metrics

Final decisions by AIMXCHANGE & IRAMA are final and binding.

6. Account Suspension

Accounts may be suspended or terminated for:

  • Repeated violations

  • Fraud

  • Community abuse

  • Rights infringement

7. Limitation of Liability

AIMXCHANGE is not liable for:

  • Disputes between creators

  • Content misuse by third parties

  • Temporary downtime

  • External platform disruptions (Suno, Udio, etc.)

8. Amendments

These Terms may be revised at any time without prior notice. Continued usage indicates acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

10. DISCLAIMER: Limited Promotional & Verification License

By uploading content to AIMXCHANGE, the creator confirms that:

  1. The work may already be monetized or distributed via third-party Digital Streaming Platforms (DSPs) including but not limited to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, etc.

  2. The creator grants AIMXCHANGE a non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license to:

    • Use short audio excerpts

    • Display artwork, track title and creator name

    • Use related visual materials

  3. Strictly for the purpose of:

    • Platform promotion

    • Participation verification

    • Community documentation

    • Non-commercial awards & showcases

  4. All copyright, publishing and commercial rights remain fully with the creator or original rights holder.

  5. AIMXCHANGE:

    • Does not operate as a streaming or distribution platform

    • Does not sell music

    • Does not collect streaming revenue

    • Does not claim commercial royalties

  6. The creator remains fully responsible for:

    • Any label agreements

    • Publishing contracts

    • DSP aggregators

    • Third-party monetization arrangements

11. Strict Prohibition: AI Cover Songs & Copyright Imitation Policy

AIMXCHANGE STRICTLY PROHIBITS the following content:

  • AI-generated cover songs

  • AI remakes of existing copyrighted songs

  • Reproduction of existing melodies, lyrics or arrangements

  • Voice imitation of real artists or public figures without written consent

  • AI voice covers, AI duets, AI remixes, AI parodies based on copyrighted works

Only ORIGINAL AI works and ORIGINAL hybrid creations are allowed.

Violations may result in:

  • Immediate content removal

  • Account suspension or permanent ban

  • Further legal action if required

12. Voice Usage & AI Voice Policy

AIMXCHANGE permits the use of voices contained in a recording only if:

  • The recording is the creator’s full legal property, OR

  • The recording is used under a valid recording license (example the track that been published/distributed with the vocal on the recording), OR

  • There is written permission from the recording rights holder and the original vocalist.

However, AIMXCHANGE STRICTLY PROHIBITS:

  • Extracting voices from third-party songs to build AI voice models

  • AI impersonation of real artists without written authorization
    Using AI to misrepresent identity or simulate public figures without consent

AIMXCHANGE reserves the right to:

  • Request proof of recording ownership or authorization

  • Remove content immediately upon dispute or rights concern
